Avdimou is a village in the Limassol district. According to the 2011 inventory it had 535 residents. Until 1963 the village was mainly inhabited by Turkish Cypriots but there were also some Greek Cypriots. In 1963, after the communal disturbances the Greek Cypriots abandoned the village. After the Turkish invasion in 1974, the Turkish Cypriot village residents were transformed to the occupied part of Cyprus and the Greek Cypriots moved to Avdimou.
