During the last few years, after many complaints and entreaties, all the seaside towns have been allotted beaches in which visitors can take their dogs to.

Therefore the following beaches are the ones in which visitors can swim with their dogs according to the law. However it is important to visit and maintain clean so as not to give permission to the void but also to be able to demand access to other organised beaches as well.

Kasianes ( Sypros Beach)

This beach is located in the Larnaca district. After the desalination in Menou, you will find signs guiding you to the beach. Even though availability is limited, it is one of the best beaches for dogs on the island as it is clean with golden sand.

Acheleia beach

This beach is located in Acheleia village (Northwest of the Paphos airport) in the Paphos district. It is a small pebbled beach, which your dog will like but is not that pleasant for humans. Its peace and the very few visitors make it ideal for allowing your dog to run freely.

Steratzia beach

This beach is located in the Kato Pyrgos area. It is one of most deserted beaches due to its distance, but at least dogs can swim there without danger. In order to find this beach though you must ask someone in the area.

Karavopetra beach

This beach is located in the Monagrouli area in the Limassol district. This beach is suitable for swimming and relaxing. However it is good to look this beach up on a map as it is in a well-hidden area.

Pitili beach

This beach is located in the Neo Chorio village in the Paphos district. This beach is quite difficult to get to as the rocks make it hard and even dangerous. The small bay which is located to the left is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island but you have to go there while it is empty, or else it is not worth it.

Prolymnos beach

This beach is located in the Pissouri area in the Limassol district. This beach is suitable for swimming and relaxing. However it is good to look this beach up on a map as it is in a well-hidden area.

Louma beach

This beach is located in the Louma area in Ayia Napa. The particular beach has stopped being in operation from January 2016 however there are still signs. This beach is full of rocky surfaces, therefore it is not a beach suitable for swimming.
