The Museum of History of Cypriot Coinage operated in 1995 and it is the only one of its kind in the Nicosia district in Cyprus.

This permanent exhibition presents a large part of the Coin Collection Foundation. The presentation of 500 and more coins, are divided into 9 chronological periods and aims to show the vast history of Cyprus. The presentation begins with the first coins which circulated on the island during the 6th century B.C and reach until the modern age.

The Museum is part of the Cultural Route of Aphrodite. The presentation in the museum is in both Greek and English. There are also educational programmes organised as well as special tours. In the areas of the Cultural Foundation there are special facilities for people with disabilities.
