Ergates Lake

The Ergates Lake is situated in the Ergates village in the Nicosia district. It has a circular shape and in the middle it has a small island with some trees on it.

It is located east of the village on the road leading to Psimolofou. The Pedieos River which passes only three metres west of the lake it also its creator.

The Lake stands out due to the dozens of birds, especially the geese and ducks which makes a lot of people gather at its banks.
