The Pernera beach has a length of 200 metres and 25 metres width. It is located 1, 8 kilometres from the Ayia Napa centre, between the Vatheia Gonia and Katsarka beaches.

It is a sandy beach to the north part, while to the south there are some rocky formations due to the peninsula which has developed there.

It is covered with golden sand and has medium strength waves. Along the beach there is a paved pathway which that connects the Ayia Napa port with the Vathia Gonia beach.

There is a possibility of hiking towards the west, until the Makronissos beach, where visitors can see the archaeological site of the Makronissos Necropolis.

In the surrounding area, there is sports equipment and water sports to rent, as well as accommodation areas.

More specifically there is an entrance for visitors with wheelchairs and the pathways are without any obstacles.

There are areas with umbrellas, seats and sunbeds in order to rent as well.

All the Ayia Napa beaches have been awarded with the Blue Flag award, for their high level of cleanliness and the excellent facilities which are offered according to standards by the European Union.
