The church of the Apostles Varnava and Ilariona is located in the Peristerona Village in the Nicosia district.

Hidden deep within the Troodos Mountains, amidst dense pine forests and winding country roads, lies one of Cyprus’s most remarkable religious landmarks: the Stavros tou Agiasmati Monastery. Though modest in scale, this 15th-century monastic church is an extraordinary window into the religious life, art, and architecture of medieval Cyprus. Revered for its stunning frescoes and tranquil surroundings, the monastery stands as a beacon of the island’s Orthodox Christian heritage and Byzantine legacy.

The church of Panagia Asinou is located in the mountains of Troodos, in the centre of Cyprus.

Some of the greatest monuments of Byzantine art are located at this church. It concerns iconographies in churches which are saved from various phases of the Byzantine and Meta-Byzantine art dated from the 11th until 19th century. Then of these churches have been added to the catalogue of the UNESCO World Heritage Programme.

Agios Ioannis Lampadistis or Saint John Lampadistis Monastery is situated in the village of Kalopanayiotis , built on the east side of the Setrachos river in the valley of Marathasa.

Agios Neophytos Monastery is located near the village of Tala, about 10 kilometres north of Paphos in a beautiful location surrounded by trees and rich vegetation. Agios Neophytos had originally carved himself a small chapel in 1159.

Agios Nikolaos tis Stegis Church or Saint Nicholas of the Roof is situated in the village of Kakopetria in the Troodos mountain range, in the upper Solea valley. In 1985, UNESCO inscribed the church on its World Heritage List which includes nine other painted Byzantine churches of the Troodos range.

Agia Paraskevi church is located in the vilage of Geroskipou in Paphos. The Byzantine church of Agia Paraskevi is worldwide recognised as an extremely significant example of Byzantine architecture, dating back to the 9th century A.D.

The church of Agiou Lazarou is built on the beach zone of Larnaca and is a worshiping centre of Agiou Lazarou in Cyprus. The relationship of the saint with the apostles on the island was close. After his rising Agios Lazaros fed to Cyprus where he met with Apostles Paul and Varnava who made him an episcope of Kiti. Sources mention that he was buried in a marble Larnaca which had an inscription on it which stated: The four day Lazaros and friend of Christ.
