The Protaras Ocean Aquarium is located in the area of Protaras in Cyprus.

The aquarium is the home to over 1000 species such as piranhas, stingrays, turtles, crocodiles, penguins and many more. The aquarium is the ideal place for relaxing and going on a trip through the underwater world and walk through the 12,500m2 tropical gardens. Though the journey visitors have the opportunity to see 400 different types of species.

There are different areas in the aquarium such as the deep, the penguin house, the crocodile area, exotic birds, and the tropical gardens. The penguin house is a site where visitors can get close to the penguins as they are kept in suitable conditions for them. The crocodile area is where the Siamensis crocodiles as well as the Nile crocodiles can see been.

The next area is where the exotic birds live, which come from different places all over the world. And lastly the gardens is a beautiful 12,500m2 area where visitors can walk around the plant life, the pond and see turtles and crocodiles. After you have visited the aquarium you can visit the open air kiosk and have an ice cream a, a snack or a drink.
