King Carnival Grand Entrance

The Pafos Carnival 2026 celebrations open with the spectacular entrance of the King Carnival Grand Entrance, themed “The Enchanted Forest.”

The “King of the Enchanted Forest” will be accompanied by:

the “Danceroom” Jake Athanasiades Dance School
the Philharmonic Band of Pafos Music School
the “Pafos Majorettes” of Constantinos Hadjieftychou Dance School

The parade will move along G. Griva Digeni Avenue, pass through Kennedy Square toward Makariou Avenue, and conclude at Ibrahim’s Khan, where the Tsiknopempti Fest will take place in the heart of the city.

Tsiknopempti Fest

In the historic center of Pafos, the ultimate Tsiknopempti Fest will take place — open and free for everyone.

Ibrahim’s Khan will be transformed into a bright, colourful Enchanted Forest, filled with music and carnival vibes.

At 6:00 p.m., DJ Claudio takes over and turns up the energy, followed later by the explosive Time Surfers, with a dynamic disco and retro-inspired programme featuring Greek and international hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s.

The Municipality of Pafos will take care of the food, offering free souvlaki, burgers, and pizza. Drink stations will be available on site, operated by local businesses.

The Mystery of the Golden Mask

Family Music – Storytelling Performance

The heart of Venice comes alive at the Pafos Carnival 2026 through a unique family event that combines music, theatre, and creative activities.

The story unfolds in Carnival-era Venice, where a mysterious Thief of Sounds traps the city’s music and colours inside a white mask.

Children are invited to become Guardians of the Carnival by creating their own dazzling masks in a workshop before the performance.

During the performance, young audiences are introduced to iconic works from the classical repertoire by composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Saint-Saëns, Grieg, Khachaturian, and Massenet.
