Acheritou village

Acheritou is an occupied village in the Ammochostos district.

It is located west of Saint Nicholas which is a part of the Dekelia British bases. After the Turkish invasion in 1974, it was inhabited completely by Turkish settlers.

The settlement is against the law, according to the Cypriot laws of municipalities, and the international law and the permanent court of international Justice, which stated that the Turkish settlement is against the law and it must be undone in order to remove its consequences.
