The Caledonia waterfalls is considered to be the highest waterfalls in Cyprus, but the Millomeri waterfalls is actually a few metres higher than Kaledonia waterfalls.

At Millomeri Fall, the water falls from a height of 15 meters. The most obvious reason for that, is due to the fact that access to Millomeri waterfall was made easier a couple of years ago, so only few people knew about this place.

Kaledonia waterfalls though are much more beautiful and full of nature green compared to the Millomeri waterfalls. The Millomeri waterfalls are better for people who do not wish to trek but instead they prefer to simply get out of the car and visit the waterfalls. The name of the waterfall comes from the greek words for Wet (Milos) and Meri (place), meaning wet place. The road to Millomeri falls was opend some years ago and it is now considered as a great place to visit.

You can get to Millomeri waterfalls via two ways, either drive right up to it in a vehicle or walk 1km from the Platres Church. If you prefer the driving approach then follow these instructions:

You will see the exit to Millomeri waterfalls 2km before the first exit to Platres, while driving from Limassol to Troodos. The exit is in the middle of a sharp right turn (from Limassol to Troodos) and it is easy to miss, so drive slow and watch for the turn. You can pay attention to the signboards and be careful with the distances. The exit will be approximately 2 km before Platres when the road turns right on the main road.

After a while, the road will be worse but there is not problem for any car, even a saloon car can drive to it. The worst point is only a few hundred meters before the Millomeri waterfall due to landslide conditions but this depends so you need to keep going until you see a wide open area. There you will come across a small bridge and at the end of the bridge you can see a Kiosk. Right after the Kiosk you will see the stairs that lead to the base of the waterfall.
