Trimiklini Bridge is located in the village of Trimiklini in the Limassol district. Walking around in the village one will meet the unique ancient bridge that was built during the Venetian period, at the river bank of the Kouris River.

Trimiklini Bridge linked the regional wine villages of Limassol with those of the Paphos district. It is made out of stones from the river bank and it made up of three arches. One arch which is the largest, is pointy and has an opening of about 8 metres, while the other two are asymmetric. The width of the bridge is about 2, 60 metres.

Due to the wild vegetation in the area and the older landslides, the largest part of the road from which the bridge is built on has disappeared. The bridge is filled with surrounding trees such as alder trees, plane trees  as well as reed beds that compose a beautiful and peaceful environment.

According to Christian tradition, Agia Eleni had passed from the Trimiklini Bridge while transferring the Holy Cross, from Stavrovouni to the Stavros Monastery in the village Kouka and Omodos.

The visitors of the bridge however, are very few due to the rough area that makes it difficult to get to. This is the reason why a visit to the particular area is an adventure and a challenge for whoever wishes to visit it.
