The beautiful Milia Bridge is located between the villages Platres and Pera Pedi in the Limassol district. It is situated about 2 kilometers from the community of Platres.

The bridge connected the road towards the two villages and went over the Kryos River during the medieval period, as it does today. It is a very peaceful place and the only thing that you will hear is the chirping of the birds and the water flowing from the river.

There are three ways to get to the bridge, either driving, on foot, or by bike. The hike can begin from the Platres Sports Centre, and is a difficult course of about 1 – 1, 5 kilometers.

The river is a one arched stone bridge that was built during the medieval period. It stands imperious and impressive, through the centuries surrounded by ivy and tall trees.

The scene that is created when the river collects water during the autumn months is magical. All of these thing create a feeling of awe and serenity.

The contact with colors, smells and the sound of nature operate as an antidote for the stress and depression that affect modern society.
