Masterland and the Children’s City of Craftsmen - Limassol

Masterland and the Children’s City of Craftsmen is located in the Limassol district and is an area that will not only interest the children but also excite them. It is an area that is very different and completely innovative for Cyprus, as it combines fun and entertainment with education.

It is a small community where the children come into contact with various professions in a direct and interactive way through almost real conditions. It is an area where the children learn the occupations of adults and can then create their own opinion about each one of them.

It is a beautifully designed area, which the owners decided to create after realising that there is lack of activities for children in Cyprus. At Masterland , children from 4 to 15 can work as constructors , bank clerks , fire fighters , doctors , surgeons ,chefs , dentists , policemen , post officers, painters , nurses , detectives and many more. It is a game of occupations that also gives them the opportunity to gain a salary.

Masterland operates as a real life town and includes all the services which we would like to teach children such as hospitals, police, fire brigade, bank, pharmacy, park and other 70 occupations that will draw their interest. The children can choose in which area they would like to work in for about half an hour.

The children will play different roles through the game and learn about life and work in the real world, gaining new knowledge, abilities and experience. For example in the hospital they will learn about First Aid and all the different organs in the body. At the bank they will learn about the use of money. Each occupation will give all the information necessary so that the child will be able to understand the occupation.
