The Agia Marina Church is located in the Agia Marinouda Village in the Paphos district. Agia Marinouda neighbours with Geroskipou to the east and with Agia Varvara to the west. Agia Marinouda has both the elements of mountain and sea as it is built at a height of 150 metres above the sea level with a panoramic view.

The church is dedicated to Agia Marina from who the village received its name. It is said that there used to be an older chapel in the same position which was built in 1920, however that construction was not stable and it collapsed.

The newer chapel was built in 1985 in the same place as the older chapel with donations given by the residents. The church is small and simple and it is built with stone and roof tiles. It also has a bellower with two bells on the right hand side. The church is built next to the Ayia Marinouda Communal Council and is surrounded by a small stone built wall. The church celebrates on the 17th of July with festivities in the village.
