The Pavlos Liasides Monument  is located in the Deryneia Municipality, in the Ammochostos district.

More specifically it is situated in the in the Deryneia Park located on the Pedokomikos Stathmos Street opposite the Deryneia Kindergarden.

Pavlos Liasides was one of the most important Contemporary Folk Poets in Cyprus. He was born in Lisi in 1901 and died during 1985 leaving invaluable work behind.

He published 14 poetry collections and wrote 8 theatrical plays. A monument in his memory was situated at the particular park until his birthplace is freed.
