Kourion Beach or Agios Ermogenis which it is also called ,  is situated in the area of the Episkopi Bay, about 17 kilometres from the Limassol district. The Kourion beach is in close proximity to the Ancient Kourion Theatre.

The beach is made up of both sand and pebbles, while it has been given the Blue Flag award for its clean blue waters. Its awarded waters take various shades of blue creating an opposing palette of colours with white hills surrounding it and forming a perfect background.

As its waters are very shallow, it is ideal for families with small children. The west side of the beach is also favoured from windsurfers due to the fact that there are strong winds in the area.

The beach offers many facilities, such as sunbeds, umbrellas, showers and toilets. There are also lifeguards on duty during the summer months. There are many restaurants along the beach which offer delicious seafood as well as traditional Cypriot food. Kourion beach is accessible by public transportation, by car and by motorbike.
