The Timios Stavros Church is located in the village of Kyperounta in the Limassol district.

The church stands majestically at the location where an ancient settlement once existed. It is the most ancient church in the village and it has basilica architecture. It has a wooden arched roof. Its walls are made of large irregular rocks from the Madari. There are also other smaller ones amongst the large ones.

The impressive bell tower stands towards the southwest of the church at a small distance from it. It is made up of two large wooden beams with a canopy at the top. At the point where the two beams connect is a manual bell.

According to the inscription, the Timios Stavros Church was used as place of overnight stay by the first British Commissioner in Cyprus. Today the temple is used as a church exhibition area.
