The Kalopanayiotis Venetian Bridge is located the bridge is located in the Marathasa Valley on the Troodos Mountain Range  approximately 70 km from Nicosia and Limassol.

More specifically , it is situated in the Kalopanayiotis village in the Nicosia District very close to Moutoullas, just 3 km to the north.

The Kalopanayiotis Venetian Bridge passes over the Setrachos River and is estimated to be a construction of the 16th century.

The Venetian bridge used to link the village with the monastery, the first primary school and the surrounding farm area. it is situated near the Monastery , between the tall plane trees , at a short distance from where the Apostles Paul and Varnavas christened Agio Erakleidio.

On the 6th of January, the christening of the cross takes place in a devout ceremony. After the christening loukoumades are offered at the monastery square.
