Alykes Beach is situated in the centre of the tourist area in Kato Paphos between the beaches of the Municipal Baths and Vrisoudia B. It is a small beach with sand and a rocky bottom, while it is protected with two breakwaters.

The beach has been given a blue flag award for its clean waters and the quality of the water. There are many facilities at this beach such as umbrellas and sunbeds, showers, changing rooms, and water sports while there are many cafes, restaurants and taverns in the surrounding area. Lifeguards are on duty at the beach during from the 15th of April until the 31st of October.  

Access to this beach is very easy as it is located on the Poseidonos Avenue and visitors can get there by car, bus, motorbike bike or even on foot through the coastal footpath. The Alykes beach is considered to be one of the ideal beaches for swimming and cooling down in the area.
