Kastella Beach is located near  Mackenzie Beach near the Fishing Shelter  in the Larnaca district. In particular, it is about a 15 minute walk from the Larnaca centre. It is a small beach with a length of about 400 metres and width of about 20 to 70 metres.

Kastella Beach has been awarded a blue flag for its clean waters. The sea is shallow and it is usually calm , ideal for families.  It is a sandy beach made up of thin grey sand.

The beach offers many facilities to its visitors such as sunbeds, umbrellas, toilets, changing rooms and lifeguards on duty from June to October. There are many fish taverns, restaurants, beach bars and ice cream shops in the surrounding area. Access to Kastella Beach can be made by car , bus and on foot. Parking is available opposite at the municipal car park or near the Fishing Harbour.
