Emba is a village situated in the Paphos district in Cyprus. It extends to an area of 6.7 square kilometres and has an average altitude of 140 metres. Emba borders with the communities of ChlorakaKissonerga, Tala, Tremithousa , and Mesogi. It is one of the largest villages in the Paphos district in population as it has around 6500 residents.

According to tradition Empa received its name due to a particular incident. At the entrance of the village, was a large feud near the borders with Paphos. The feud was always protected by a guard and in order to enter it one would have pass from the guard. If the guard allowed one to pass he would say “empa” meaning enter. With time this phrase was passed on through generations and became the name of the village.

Empa has three churches and two chapels. These are:
