The Apostolos Markos Chapel is situated in the community of Paralimni in the Famagusta district. It was built in honour of Markos, a small child who lost his life in the Helios aeroplane crash in 2005, as well as the other 14 passengers who were from Paralimni.

The chapel is small and simple, yet elegant. Its exterior is built with stone and it has a tiled roof and a dome. Its interior is white with marble columns and a wooden iconostasis.

The chapel is dedicated to Apostle and Evangelist Mark, whose memory is celebrated on the 25th of April.
