The Prophet Elias Chapel is located in the Tsakistra Village in the Nicosia district.

It is situated at the top of the hill, North West of the village and was built in 1995. In its position there were ruins of an older building, with an unknown date of creation.

On the eve of the chapel’s celebration, which is on the 20th of July a hike takes place towards the chapel, following a procession.

The procession continues towards Tsakistra and ends at the church of Agiou Nikolaou.
