The Timiou Prodromou Chapel was built during the 12th century and is located in the Kato Drys village in the Larnaca district.

This church is small and it can barely accommodate 15 believers. Its exterior is stone built and its back side reminds one of a byzantine construction.

There are some ruins of the previous chapel of Timiou Prodromou which prove that the chapel must have been demolished. Its interior is very poor and simple.

The icon dedicated to Timiou Prodromou is of the renaissance and is located in a special iconostasis of the Panagia Eleousa Church.

Lastly, the chapel operates 1-2 times a year and the residents near the area admire the saint very much and celebrate him on the 24th of June.
